Some info about our team

Pixauto was formed by media industry professionals excited by the possibilities offered by remotely controlled multi-rotor aircraft, not only to the broadcast and corporate industries, but to just about anybody who needs to see something from the sky. Our multi-rotor aircraft are small enough to fit in a car yet capable of producing breathtaking high quality images. Couple this with decades of behind-the-camera experience from our creative professionals and you have a group of people ready to deliver on projects of the highest calibre.

Our flight crew is fully trained, insured and CAA Licensed as required by law. We know the rules and we work within them to make sure our images not only look great, but are acquired in the safest possible manner.

Will comes from a background of many years filming, editing and producing broadcast sports documentaries and corporate videos. "Aerial footage is such a powerful way of introducing and explaining the location of ground based scenes. I love the freedom of movement it brings to productions"

2013

Pixauto formed, flight ground school completed

in 2013 pixauto was formed by Tim Andrew, a photogrpher/videographer with 30 years of experience. A keen interest in all things radio controlled, meant this rapidly evolving world of aerial filming, was a natural extension of his skillset.

2014

Pixauto qualified

Early in 2014 pilot Tim Andrew, qualified as a BNUC-s . The CAA Permission For Aerial Work was granted to pixauto shortly afterwards

2014

Aerial Showreel filmed and edited

Late 2014, our first showreel was ready and revealed to the world. A website is developped to house and showcase a portfolio of images and videos

2015

New Pilot / Co-Director

Early 2015, newly qualied BNUCS-s pilot Will Caddy joins the team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in documentary and broadcast. Pixauto Ltd was formed with Tim Andrew and Will Caddy as co-directors
